Description

With domed cover, incised design “VINCENT GREEN HIS TEAPOT” and on the obverse an incised panel depicting a figure in a landscape with 1899.

Designed by William J. Neatby (1860-1910), perhaps best known for designing the colourful ceramic interior of Harrods meat hall (1903), one of the most opulent Art Nouveau interiors in Britain. Vincent Green was Dr Vincent Green, president of The British Homeopathic Society & physician to The Wimbledon & Merton Homeopathic Hospital & lived in Wimbledon Hill.
