“Highland Mist” Original oil painting by Charles Rebel Stanton.

1887-1954.

Worked primarily as a commercial artist, and had many publications in The Illustrated London News.

He was also a sculptor, and a relief work of his decorated the second class lounge on the Queen Mary liner.

He also produced a body of work chronicling the devastation of the blitz on London streets.
